Kingdom Policy Features. In Native the AI doesn't really care about Kingdom Policies. It votes based a preset set of weights that have nothing to do with whether those policies would be good for them. In fact, the AI doesn't even know what the policies do. The AI will vote based on their individual needs.
One Key To Getting Vassals. Found out that most vassals that hate their ruler are much easier to sway to your kingdom. Its actually easy to find these vassals as you just have to look through the rulers enemies in the encyclopedia and if you come across one with a title of vassal for the kingdom that ruler rules they are the ones you should try
It makes your people happy, which makes them feel more secure, which makes them more loyal. Happy people produce more and better recruits when you need them. Happy people increase your construction, so your projects finish faster. Happy people make for a more prosperous town, which means more money in your pocket.
Steam. Royal privilege extended adds a new effect to the Royal Privilege policy. - Ruler clan of the kingdom is always a candidate on fief ownership vote. This was done to insure as a king you can always choose to take a fief if you want it after all you have royal privilege. Not overpowered as you still need to pay the influence cost.
Much later in your Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord campaign, you could rule your own kingdom and gain the effects of the aforementioned Steward skill perks as well as additional boosts from policies.
Dont pass it it breaks the game. The ruler or a large clan will get like 10k influence in about 60days. And also it seems the ruler will always give a castle/city to himself when possible. The king of Battania (Kingdom I joined) is getting everything for him even when then votes are 100% for someone else. #5.
The Noble Retinues kingdom policy in Bannerlord will offer you these modifiers: Tier +5 Clans -1 Influence per day. Clan Leaders +40 party size limit. This is an interesting policy, as it requires many of the powerful clans to give their precious Influence on a daily basis in exchange for party size.
